During the operation of DOT, 23 ukrainian manufacturers became suppliers of material goods for the AFU for the first time

Since the start of the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition work, 23 Ukrainian companies have been contracted for the first time to participate in tenders for the procurement of material goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These are national manufacturers with many years of experience and who work with retail networks.

Specifically, 5 manufacturers will supply ammunition for the first time:

  • 3 are contracted to supply tactical load-bearing belts, bags, and pouches,

  • 1 supplies helmets,

  • 1 supplies tactical glasses.

Among the companies supplying belts, bags, and pouches to the military, some have been in the Ukrainian market for over 10 years. Cooperation with DOT is their first experience supplying to the Armed Forces.

13 new companies won tenders to supply clothing and other textile products for the Armed Forces. Among the suppliers of bedding are Ukrainian companies with over 20 years of experience.

Additionally, DOT contracted 5 Ukrainian manufacturers to supply mats, seats, mattresses, and tents.

"The share of the budget allocated to the provision of the Armed Forces today is the largest. Therefore, we are working to involve as many Ukrainian manufacturers as possible in the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In this way, we support the economy of our country, expand competition in tenders, and achieve significant savings in the state budget. To this end, we are building our procurement strategy accordingly. We conduct market consultations to explain the supply system, divide the procurement volume into lots that are feasible for more Ukrainian manufacturers, and objectively assess the capabilities of the companies,” said Viktoria Vynogradova, Director of Procurement at the State Logistics Operator.
