The State Logistics Operator has analyzed the technical requirements for three categories of goods and proposed changes that will significantly improve the quality of food products.
The changes apply to the following categories:
Dairy products (Cheese, Sour cream, Butter) - a criterion for the absence of vegetable fat has been added, which prevents the supply of substitute goods.
Meat (Fresh, Frozen) - clear packaging requirements have been established to ensure sanitary standards.
Meat and sausage products - information on the composition of raw materials in accordance with the State Standard of Ukraine has been added.
The relevant changes have already been approved by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and incorporated into the updated technical requirements. Currently, DOT is preparing draft changes to the technical requirements for the "Vegetables/Fruits" and canned goods categories.
