DOT is abandoning soviet-era fuel and lubricants

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition is implementing modern standards in the field of fuel and lubricants, gradually eliminating the totalitarian legacy in the Ukrainian army.

As a driver of the development of the supply system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, DOT is removing Soviet-era nomenclature items and replacing them with high-quality modern equivalents.

Thus, the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition will procure ORLESOL E 70/120, Rompetrol SE 75-115, or other equivalents of the solvent Nefras S2 80/120 to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, DOT has announced for the first time a procurement procedure for an equivalent of the Nefras solvent. The deadline for submitting tender proposals is July 2. We invite potential suppliers to participate in the procedure.

"Our focus is on the standardization of fuel and lubricants with the West. Moving away from the Soviet legacy should not only apply to equipment and weapons but also to all supply aspects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The faster we get rid of old nomenclature in the defence sector, the faster our integration with the European Union will be," said Viktoria Vynohradova, Director of Procurement Management at DOT.
