DOT Inspected the Production of a Supplier of Equipment for the AFU

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition conducted a scheduled inspection of the production of a supplier of equipment. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize with the status of order fulfillment.

The production contracted by DOT manufactures the following items for the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

  • Polo shirts;

  • Wind and moisture protective pants;

  • Mid-season underwear;

  • Summer field suits (SFS), etc.

The supplier showed the representatives of the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition the production processes and lines, equipment, and production facilities. Additionally, during the visit, the features of supplying equipment in the current and future periods were discussed.

In turn, DOT explained the specifics of contracts for upcoming orders. The supplier was informed about planned changes in labeling and group packaging, the extension of the period between the completed procedure and the actual delivery dates, directly for production, etc.

“After visits to such suppliers, one sees the real capabilities of Ukraine's light industry. Since the supplier works not only for the domestic market but also supplies a similar range of products abroad and is an exclusive manufacturer of well-known mass-market civilian clothing brands. Many processes are automated, over 300 jobs have been created, training centers are in operation, and there are large production capacities. The level of work organization and certification that we saw meets DOT's expectations regarding the supply of this particular range of products to fulfill contracts,” said Halyna Litosh, Head of DOT's Logistics Support Department.
