The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition and KPMG to Implement SAP Ariba for Procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition and KPMG to Implement SAP Ariba for Procurement for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition has signed a memorandum with the international network of KPMG member firms to further consolidate efforts in deploying the SAP Ariba system. Developing IT infrastructure is one of the key focuses of the DOT.

Through cooperation with KPMG, the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition will carry out the preparation and implementation of the SAP Ariba system. Successful deployment of the system will be evidence of the implementation of the plans.

By implementing the functionalities of the SAP Ariba system, we will be able to improve certain processes within the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition. The system will be used as a supplement to the Prozorro system. It is expected that the use of the system will attract new companies to the DOT’s tenders.

It is worth noting that SAP Ariba will enable the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition to ensure the efficiency of procurement preparation and execution processes. We also expect to improve supplier management processes, conduct market analysis, and use the SAP Ariba platform for procurement where appropriate. The system's functionality will facilitate contract management and simplify some aspects of category management.

As part of international support, the German Government has provided licenses for the SAP Ariba system under an agreement with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The implementation of SAP Ariba will ensure better cooperation with suppliers for the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition and provide the ability to manage procurement processes more effectively. We are confident that further fruitful cooperation with KPMG will enhance the quality of procurement processes at the DOT.
