The State Logistics Operator has signed an agreement with Cyber Unit Technologies to use the Unit Range cyber polygon. This IT system simulates hacker attack scenarios and helps teams train in realistic conditions. It supports both basic cyber hygiene training for all employees and advanced exercises for specialized staff.
"In wartime, the enemy uses every tool to break into internal systems. Our people, regardless of their role, are the first line of defense. That’s why we’re boosting our cybersecurity and launching deeper training for the whole team. Not just IT specialists, but also accountants, lawyers, and managers who work with sensitive data every day," said Andrii Sozanskyi, Executive Director of DOT.
Unit Range modules teach essential security practices like creating strong passwords, verifying emails, and protecting workstations. For cybersecurity professionals, the system offers hands-on training to counter real attack scenarios and defend infrastructure in simulated environments.
"Our work with DOT started during the BUG BASH for DOT-Chain. DOT was one of the first government entities to open its systems for testing by Ukrainian white-hat hackers. That took courage and showed real openness to serious challenges. It wasn’t just about testing technology. It sent a clear message that the organization is ready to trust the professional community and treat security as a shared responsibility," said Yegor Aushev, CEO of Cyber Unit Technologies.
The use of the cyber polygon adds to the other steps DOT has taken to strengthen its cybersecurity. In December 2024, the enterprise received ISO/IEC 27001 certification. In July 2025, its military support IT systems DOT-Chain and DOT-Chain Defence were assessed for compliance with international standards based on NIST RMF security profiles.
