One of the key priorities of the updated food supply model, along with enhanced quality control and transparent pricing, is the supply of food products from recognisable brands to the military. DOT is systematically working to build an effective supply chain, ensuring constant communication with all parties — primarily with military units and market representatives.
This format of cooperation was made possible by signal auctions, which allowed for the direct involvement of manufacturers and the conclusion of 53 tripartite agreements between DOT, the logistics operator and the manufacturer.
To assess the effectiveness of the model and the level of satisfaction among partners, DOT conducted a survey among manufacturers who participated in supply under the updated rules. A total of 27 questionnaires from company representatives were processed. The results showed a high level of approval — over 70% of the manufacturers surveyed positively assessed the model and the effectiveness of cooperation with DOT.
Among the main advantages noted by manufacturers were:
- communication with all parties involved in the process — the logistics provider and the customer;
- the opportunity to better understand the technical requirements and expectations of the military;
- transparency of procedures;
- increased trust and predictability in work.
Leading national food producers note that participation in the project has been a valuable practical experience for them and has contributed to the optimisation of internal processes.
The results and feedback obtained will form the basis for further improvement of the model. DOT will continue its systematic work on strengthening partnerships with reputable manufacturers as part of the effective and high-quality provision of supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
