Last week, Prozorro held auctions for the purchase of food for the Armed Forces for the second half of 2025. The Defence Ministry received 207 offers from market participants, which is a record for such procurement.

- Average – at least 10 offers per lot
The highest competition was observed for the lot in Zaporizhzhia region – 17 offers, expected value – over UAH 527 million.
New players also joined the bidding: 7 companies submitted their bids for the first time.
"This is the first time we have received such a large number of bids. This shows that the market is responding to the transparent conditions created. Our goal is to attract new suppliers and create fair rules of the game in the public procurement market," comments Halyna Litosh, Director of the DOT Food Program.
The winners are currently being checked for compliance with the qualification requirements. The companies that will supply food to the Armed Forces in the second half of the year will be selected soon.
