Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appoints supervisory board of the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition
 

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the appointments for the Supervisory Board of the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT).

The Supervisory Board will include both Ukrainian and international experts, facilitating the integration of global experience in reforming procurement processes for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The implementation of best corporate governance practices is an important step toward strengthening the institutional sustainability and effectiveness of the organization.

The following independent members have been appointed to the DOT Supervisory Board:

  • Simon Woodward – possesses extensive experience in the UK and international sectors, including pharmaceuticals, retail, consumer goods, catering, military, and high-risk commodities.

  • Hanna Demchenko – brings over 20 years of experience in finance within international companies.

  • Mykola Royenko – has expertise in implementing compliance functions, internal audits, investigations into potential abuses, controlling and budgeting, IPO projects, and auditing financial statements of leading companies.

As representatives of the state, the Supervisory Board will include:

  • Nadiya Bigun – Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, coordinating the development and implementation of state policies in public procurement, competitive relations, and public-private partnerships.

  • Yulia Marushevska – Head of the Change Support Office of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.

It should be noted that the selection of independent members for the DOT Supervisory Board was carried out by the professional recruitment agency Heidrick & Struggles. The recruitment services were funded by a program supported by the Special Defense Advisor of the British Embassy in Kyiv.
