The State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) will undergo certification for compliance with the international anti-corruption standard ISO 37001:2016, which relates to anti-corruption management systems. The audit services will be provided by PECB Ukraine, with support from the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative (EUACI), a leading anti-corruption program funded by the EU and co-financed and implemented by Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The audit process will begin in October this year. In the first phase, auditors will review the documents and processes currently in place at DOT. In the second phase, the risk management system, its implementation, and effectiveness will be evaluated.
Based on the audit results, an expert report will be submitted to the central office of the certification body, PECB Group Inc. If approved, DOT will be certified as compliant with the international anti-corruption management standard ISO 37001:2016.
"Obtaining certification under ISO 37001:2016 will confirm that we meet the best global anti-corruption practices. This will help us strengthen trust among both international and national partners and elevate our integrity in managing the supply process for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said Dmytro Bihunets, Director of Risk Management and Compliance at DOT.
