Starting this week, cadets from the National Aviation University’s (NAU) military training department have been receiving meals provided by a catering company.
The collaboration with the catering service offers several advantages, including:
- A diverse menu
- Flexibility in the location of meal services
- Mobility
- Capability to provide food even during power outages
To organize meals for the military department, the State Logistics Operator purchases catering services and food kits from a catalogue.
After signing the contract with the catering company, the cost of meal services amounts to UAH 111.48 (including VAT), while the cost of a food kit from the catalogue is UAH 114.24 (including VAT). This approach is more cost-effective for the state compared to previous procurement prices. Previously, the cost of meal services was UAH 114.90 (including VAT), and the food kit was UAH 117.78 (including VAT).
The total value of the contracts is UAH 5.8 million, and these contracts will be valid until the end of the year.
