DOT cooperates with international partners in the implementation of defense procurement reform

Ever since the launch and formation of the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition, the program of support of the Office of the United Kingdom’s Special Defence Advisor in Kyiv, the British Embassy Kyiv , was one of the first who started to support the procurement reform and continues to this day.

During the event "Strategy of victory: systemic changes of the security sector in 2024", Arsen Zhumadilov, General Director DOT, presented the results of the work of the DOT team during the first 100 days of the agency's activity:

- UAH 5 billion of state budget savings thanks to the expansion of competition

- a benchmark among customers in the field of defense for the purchase of fuel and lubricants

- the use of non-price criteria to ensure a better balance of "price-quality" in material provision

- ensuring continuity of food supply for the 2nd quarter

- development and implementation of an IT system for collecting applications for food products from military units to increase the transparency and accountability of the system.

This IT system is one of the main tools for implementing the reform and will be developed with the support of the program of the Office of the United Kingdom’s Special Defence Advisor in Kyiv.
