The State Logistics Operator has concluded contracts for food supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the second quarter. Savings on food kits amounted to 2 billion hryvnias. Additionally, it is expected that quarterly savings on products will exceed 500 million hryvnias.
This achievement is attributed to savings on the top 10 most consumed items compared to prices in previous contracts:
1. Frozen boneless pork shoulder - 17% savings
2. Frozen pork leg - 31% savings
3. Frozen chicken fillet - 27% savings
4. Buckwheat groats - 51% savings
5. Frozen boneless pork ribs - 25% savings
6. Refined sunflower oil - 31% savings
7. Sugar - 27% savings
8. Fresh onion - 36% savings
9. Chilled pork shoulder - 17% savings
10. Smoked ham - 14% savings
The cost of products is based on the consumer price index and is reviewed monthly to reflect market dynamics. This flexible approach to pricing allows for the acquisition of quality goods at their market value.
